WR: Violet's Facial Care Routine

Hey girls! Violet here! Today I am going to be sharing my facial care routine with you! I think that taking care of our skin is extremely important. The more we take care of our skin, the less makeup we use, and in turn, the better our skin will be. One thing I do suggest, is to talk to your dermatologist. Tell them the type of skin you have, and they will suggest vitamins you can take to improve it. Other than that you should wash and moisturizer your face every day and every night! This is important because during the night our face gets dirty from the grease in our hair, and during the day our face has makeup, and even if not the air our pores are exposed to can be dirty. These are the products I like to use. Please not that this is just what works for me, and the same products might not do the same thing for you. Also, that no matter what skin type you have it is always better to use more natural products with organic ingredients and no chemicals.

The first thing I do is remove all my makeup. What I've been liking to use is my Nutregena Makeup Removing Wipes. I have been liking these because they remove my makeup really quickly and easily.

Second, I wash my face with the Nutregena Naturals Pore Scrub. This really gets in and cleans my pores out which is essential when it comes to skin in general. Also, something like an exfoliant such as a pore scrub works really well for normal or dry skin. It gets of all the flakiness so that its easier for the moisturizer to work it's magic.

Next, is I use witch hazel. In my opinion, not enough people use this. Witch Hazel is sort of like a bioderma of sorts. It further cleanses your skin, and makes sure that there's absolutely no germs in your pores that will make you break out. Even if your skin is perfect, you still need to do this step. It will work wonders!

Lastly, I moisturize! The moisturizer I have been using is the Nutregena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Moisturizer. This is an amazing product because it really puts vitamins in to your skin which is very nice for the face.

Another thing I do is get facials every month where they take out all my pimples and blackheads, which is super healthy for your skin. Again, make sure to talk to your dermatologist, that is probably the best option. Also remember that even though you might have clear skin, washing, moisturizing, removing your makeup, and using witch hazel, are all till things you should be doing.

Thanks for reading!!

Xoxo,

Violet

Sleepover with Blind Makeovers(:

Hey girls! We haven't posted at all this week, so I thought I would share a few photos from a sleepover that we had a few weeks ago, with Tati and Adri. This was our sleepover(:

Being the crazy girls that we are, we decided to do blind makeovers. Let's just say this was a messy, hilarious! Here are some pics!

So we started out looking normal....

Then the makeovers started.
Tati thought that my eyebrows were my eyelashes!
I put concealer on Tati's lips, instead of lipstick.
                                                             Violet's puzzled look!
And we ended up looking quite scary....

Violet and I had a sleepover with our best friends Tati and Adri last Saturday and we went to the mall the next day, so this can be a cute outfit to wear to the mall, stylish shopping!(:

I wore blue jeans from Hollister, and a simple brown V-neck. I recently made an infinity scarf, which I'm wearing! I got new brown boots that are so cute~I love them.

The Wednesday Review!~PYT straightener

Hey Y'all! I'm very excited about this post! Today's theme is The Wednesday Review, and we will be reviewing the PYT straightener!
This product is absolutely amazing, I'm in love with it! I purchased this recently at a kiosk at my local mall for about $120. This may seem like a lot but it is originally over $200. Violet loves it too, she wants to steal mine now!

The main reason I love this is because it doesn't damage your hair at all. It is full ceramic, meaning it doesn't burn or dry out your hair. My hair usually takes at least an hour to straighten but with this, it takes only half that time!
*The only bad thing that I have noticed so far is that my hair becomes very static-y. Using Moroccan hair oil can help with that*

Love Y'all! xoxo, Nina

Step 2: Use an eyelid primer, to insure that your eyeshadow will stay.
Step 3: Apply a gold eye shadow to your lid. Use a lighter color in your inner corner to brighten up your eyes.

Step 4: In the crease of your eyelid, you can add a thin brown color, and blend that in well.
Step 5: Curl your eyelashes and apply a mascara of your choice.
There you have it! A cozy looking eye makeup that is great for any look! Check back tomorrow for The Wednesday Review, on the PYT straightener!

MM: Violet's Everyday Makeup Routine!

Hey Girls! Violet here! Long time no see! Since our last post, here at GirlyFab we have come up with a whole new schedule for our fabulous posts! Here's a quick breakdown:

Monday: MakeupMondays
Tuesday: Tutorial Tuesday
Wednesday: The Wednesday Review
Thursday: ThursDIY
Friday: FashionFridays

So since today is the first day of Makeup Mondays, we thought we would do an extra special post!
Without further ado, here is my everyday makeup routine! :-)

Step 1: Prime!

I can not stress enough how important it is to prime your face before you put any foundation on! Primer is important because it will create a layer between your skin and other product, which will reduce the amount of pore enlargement! I use the Loreal Perfecting Base Primer because it has a mat finish and does some pre-concealing for me as well.

Step 2: Foundation!

Foundation is definately what I spend the most time on. When you have a well done face, everything else just falls in to place. I use the Covergirl Clean Foundation in the color Ivory. I find this foundation extremely moisturizing and build able. I like to blend my foundation in with a beauty blender (the pink thing). I got my blender on Amazon, but you can also find things like them at your local drugstore or other websites online. The reason I don't like using my hands for my foundation, is because it is pretty messy and I don't want to break out or irritate my skin.

Step 3: Blush!

Blush is one of my favorite beauty products ever. It allows you to achieve a perfect rosy glow in a couple seconds! For my everyday look, I like using my Tarte blush in Adored that I got from Sephora. It is made out of Amazonian Clay so it stays on for an extremely long time. I love applying my blush with my Elf Studio Powder Brush that I got from Target for 3 bucks! Remember to stifle the blush onto your blush!

Step 4: Concealer!

I don't know why I conceal after blush, but I always do for some reason! We all have our strange ways. ;-) Anyways, for concealer my favorite thing to use is my Shany Cosmetice Camouflage Concealer Palette that I picked up from Amazon for around 7 dollars. For under-eye circles I love the lilac color underneath my normal skin color concealer to help brighten it up.

Step 5: Liner and Mascara!

Even though this is the last step, it definitely is very important!
For the eyes, I love the smudgestick liners from Stila. Mine is in the color Trigger Fish and is waterproof which is great since I do ballet! If you have a lighter colored eye, I suggest a grey or lighter brown toned eye-liner. If you have a brown or darker colored eye, black or dark brown eye liner is better. The mascara I am currently loving is Maybeline MegaLash, because it works so amazingly at making my lashes very even and not chunky

So that is it! This is the final product! This routine only takes my about 10 minutes every morning and is totally worth every second. I love how natural my face looks! These products will definitely leave you with an overall naturally effortless look! Enjoy!

You are all beautiful

xoxo,
Violet
